Frankfurt meets Romanian minimal.<\/div>
With Take Me Home, Frankfurt-based DJ and producer Bo Mikel delivers a groove-focused EP shaped for the deeper hours of the dancefloor.<\/div>
Rooted in Frankfurt\u2019s electronic music culture, Bo Mikel\u2019s sound moves between tech-house, minimal, microhouse and dub-influenced grooves \u2014 warm basslines, subtle textures, hypnotic repetition and a strong focus on the details that keep a groove moving.<\/div>
Alongside the original mix, the EP features the additional bonus track \u201cStrangers\u201d, showing another side of Bo Mikel\u2019s sound while staying firmly connected to the character of the release.<\/div><\/div>
On remix duties is MTPS aka Cristi Marincu.<\/div>
Originally from Romania and currently based in the Netherlands, MTPS is known for exploring abstract sounds, experimental patterns and forward-thinking minimal music. His productions combine intricate sound design with deep, rolling grooves \u2014 subtle in construction, yet highly effective on the dancefloor.<\/div>
His music has gained support from some of the most respected names in the scene, including Sven V\u00e4th, Rhadoo, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Barac, Cap and Priku, among many other established artists.<\/div>
For Take Me Home, MTPS strips the original down and rebuilds it in his own distinctive language \u2014 an intricate, rolling interpretation full of subtle details, hypnotic movement and Romanian minimal aesthetics.<\/div><\/div>
Adding a very personal touch to the release, the cover features handmade artwork created by Bo Mikel\u2019s son, Logan, used as the visual background for the release \u2014 bringing a unique and personal connection between the music and its artwork.<\/div><\/div>
